Job Family Group: Operations Group Job Description: Tangguh LNG is recruiting experienced Indonesian technicians to support operational and project requirements. Qualified and experienced Papuan professionals are also strongly encouraged to apply. As a Production Technician at BP, you will be responsible for carrying out day to day site operational activities to ensure the asset operates in a safe, compliant, and reliable manner with minimum impact on the environment in order to deliver the business objectives. What You Will Deliver: Deliver safe, compliant, reliable operations ensuring that BP HSSE and Operating Discipline expectations are met. Monitor and control equipment and process and ensure that facility operations remain within the parameters stated in the Operations Manual/Procedures and communicate to the site leadership any deviation. Optimize plant and equipment performance and where options for plant optimization exist ensure they are raised with the site leadership and Operations Support team. Safe and efficient execution of operating tasks. (Comment: Operations routines, SOPs, basics care etc.) Follow all process safety aspects of operations and identify any gaps to compliance and seek approval. (Comment: Including SOPs, MOC, ORA, overrides, LO/LC valves, leaks and seeps, handovers, etc.) Deliver full compliance with all Control of Work requirements for the role.(Comment: Prepare and implement isolations, perform monitoring, integrity and pre start-up checks, process line-ups, reinstatement after maintenance, etc.) Maintain an awareness of the site major risks and ongoing operational risks and informs site leadership of any emergent risks. Identify CI opportunities and participate in root cause failure investigations as required. Review work procedures as required ensuring accuracy of procedures used to operate plant and equipment. Provide operations recommendations to operations planning, projects and TAR preparation as well as supporting vendors and visitors as required. What You Will Need To Be Successful: S1 or D3 technical degree majoring chemical / mechanical / gas / electrical / instrument. Experience as a field technician in operations within LNG, Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or other equivalent process plant environments min 6 years for S1 and 8 years for D3. Ability to read and interpret basic engineering drawings such as PID/PFD. Possesses fundamental skills in conducting hazard analysis within operational environments. Demonstrated knowledge and hands-on experience in plant operations, with preference given to experience in LNG (Liquefied Natural Gas) facilities. Comfortable working at heights and in elevated environments. Strong ability to collaborate and work effectively as part of a team. At bp, we provide the following environment and benefits to you!
