Responsibilities: Conducting visual inspections (VT) to identify and assess visible defects and damage Performing liquid penetrant testing (PT) to detect surface-breaking defects, particularly cracks and porosity Evaluating and documenting inspection results in accordance with applicable testing procedures and standards Identifying and documenting non-conformities, as well as creating and tracking electronic non-conformance reports Reviewing manufacturing documentation and preparing inspection reports Supporting production and specialist departments with quality-related matters and inquiries Qualifications: Our Expectations Completed technical vocational training and several years of relevant professional experience Experience in visual testing (VT) and liquid penetrant testing (PT) is desirable Qualification according to DIN EN ISO 9712 is an advantage Careful and independent working style with a strong quality mindset Good technical understanding, team spirit, flexibility, and reliability Additional Skills Considered an Advantage Experience in the use of conventional inspection and measuring equipment Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, including knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) Experience with coordinate measuring machines (CMMs), ideally including operation and programming Knowledge of EagleBurgmann-specific metal components Experience working with IT systems, particularly SAP and SAP ME ‎ ‎ The Freudenberg Group is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion.
