Supplier Quality Management _ Category EME MEO(Wuhu).

Key targets:

1. In line with AUMOVIO Global Quality understanding "Quality First", strive and drive Zero Defect requirement to the supplier base.
2. Drive Zero Defect Culture within the SQM organization.
3. Ensure Best in Class "consistent and sustainable" supplier quality performance to support perfect launches and no spills

Areas of responsibility / Main Tasks:

1. Centralized components: sourcing, qualification, introduction and release components according AUMOVIO Product Life Cycle and APQP management (Advanced Product Quality Planning).
2. Handover of released components to the plant with focus on suppliers, development locations and plants.
3. Plan, initiate and control failure prevention orientated, advanced quality management measures in the design / development phase for supplied parts and services (Feasibility Commitment, Project Reviews, Run & Rate, Safe Launch Concept, Quality Control Plan etc.) to ensure that our components meet all defined requirements.
4. Review of sourcing documentation and preparation for team decision
5. Work in international and multi-disciplinary teams including e.g. Purchasing, Engineering, Project Management, local SQM departments, Customer Quality and Logistic.
6. Qualification, introduction and release of suppliers, technologies and manufacturing processes by VDA6.3 Audits with high focus on early involvement and failure prevention.
7. Drive escalation topics in order to solve the problem in a systematic manner, e.g. Red Alerts
8. Project leader (coach) for Supplier Quality Improvement Program
9. Deploy lessons learned / read across through the Category, organization and towards suppliers.

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical & Electronic and/or Mechanical Engineering.
2. Minimum 5 years working experience in Supplier Quality Management.
3. Good understanding of Component Introduction in design and development phase and APQP management
4. Good knowledge in process for plastic overmolding/molding, stamping, press-fit stamping, sub-component assembly, automated inline testing, wire cutting/terminating for cable assemblies
5. Strong Knowledge in quality related methodologies and standards (eg. FMEA, 8D review, 5why, Problem Solving, etc)
6. Experience in performing process audits based on VDA 6.3.
7. Experience in automotive industry and standards (eg. IATF 16949)
8. Able to work independently and also in team-based environment
9. Willing to travel to be onsite at supplier and short-notice in case of escalation.
