Why this role matters? As a Consultant - Hydrogeology Modelling, you will support ERM’s global consulting delivery. You will work within different teams/service lines (i.e.: Site Investigation and Remediation), partnering with SEBU project managers to support projects delivery. This role is critical to improve efficiency/quality of the delivery. What your impact is? Supporting junior colleagues but also Project Managers and Task Manager in analysing field data. Supporting junior colleagues but also Project Managers and Task Manager in data reporting, preparation of technical annexes (i.e.: groundwater maps, stratigraphic logs, lithological section, etc) What will you bring? Strong knowledge of the latest versions of MODFLOW (MODFLOW-USG / MODFLOW 6). Proven experience using PEST for model calibration. Excellent hydrogeological expertise. Knowledge of hydrochemistry, including the main contaminant degradation mechanisms in the aqueous phase. Competence in geo statistics. Experience with GIS software (QGIS or ArcGIS). Excellent written and spoken English communication skills. Preferred qualifications, skills & competencies Experience with Python programming, particularly using FloPy. Knowledge of FEFLOW. Basic and multivariate statistics skills. Proactive, curious, and problem-solving mindset. Ability to work effectively in international and multidisciplinary teams. Flexibility and ability to work independently in a remote working environment. Key responsibilities Support ERM modeller in development and calibration of numerical groundwater flow and contaminant transport models Support ERM modeller with the preparation of technical reports.
