As General Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the foodservice operation, ensuring the highest standards of service, quality, financial performance, and compliance across the site.
- Lead, motivate, and develop a team across catering, hospitality, and retail services.
- Manage the day-to-day operation and overall performance of the contract.
- Deliver exceptional customer and student experiences.
- Manage budgets, forecasting, labour costs, and financial performance.
- Drive innovation and continuously improve food and service offerings.
- Build strong relationships with college stakeholders and clients.
- Ensure all Health & Safety, Food Safety, and compliance standards are met.
- Support hospitality and special events throughout the academic year.
- Has previous experience as a General Manager, or senior catering/hospitality leader.
- Has a strong financial and commercial understanding.
- Demonstrates exceptional leadership and people development skills.
- Is passionate about food, service, and creating memorable customer experiences.
- Has experience managing large teams and multiple service streams.
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment and can manage competing priorities.
- Holds relevant Food Safety and Health & Safety qualifications (desirable)
