We are looking for a Retail Operations Receptionist to join the team here at Harrods. As a Retail Operations Receptionist, you will be responsible for the smooth and professional coordination of our internal alteration fittings while supporting the day-to-day operations and administrative functions of the department. You will play a key role in delivering excellent internal customer service, accurate scheduling, and efficient administrative workflows that enable the team to operate seamlessly. About the Role As a Retail Operations Receptionist at Harrods, you’ll be a vital member of The Tailors team, ensuring the efficient coordination of alteration fittings and supporting operational continuity behind the scenes. With a strong focus on administrative excellence and internal customer service, you will help maintain the high standards of service Harrods is renowned for. In this role, you will be responsible for: Managing the Fitter diary, ensuring appointments are scheduled accurately and efficiently while preventing diary conflicts and minimising downtime. Supporting colleagues across the business by responding promptly to alterations enquiries and maintaining accurate digital and physical records for bespoke garments and transactions. Support operational continuity by managing back-of-house processes, handling administrative tasks Proactively identifying opportunities to improve workflows and increase efficiency across the alterations booking journey. This role is fully onsite, working 5 out of 7 days per week. About You You will have a strong customer service focus when dealing with internal stakeholders and understand the importance of delivering a professional and responsive service. You will be highly organised, adaptable and able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail. You will also: Have strong customer service and communication skills when interacting with internal teams. Be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel. Have excellent time management skills and strong attention to detail. Be confident coordinating and scheduling appointments while managing competing priorities. Be experienced in maintaining accurate records and handling administrative processes. Be comfortable managing inbound enquiries and resolving issues efficiently. Demonstrate flexibility and a willingness to adapt to changing business needs. Be able to multitask effectively while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
