GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Comply with the working schedule, labor discipline and conduct rules established by labor legislation, as well as the Employer's Internal Regulations, and follow all lawful instructions and directions issued by the direct supervisor.
- Perform the duties set out in the job description and complete assigned tasks in accordance with the position's performance standards.
- Comply with all general and specific Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) regulations and Fire Prevention and Protection (PSI) requirements, particularly those identified as mandatory following the risk assessment applicable to the workplace.
- Demonstrate integrity, responsibility, teamwork, mutual respect, and professional cooperation.
- Maintain a professional attitude and appropriate language in relationships with colleagues, guests, and supervisors, and refrain from making statements that could damage the Employer's reputation, image, or that of its representatives.
- Maintain strict confidentiality throughout the duration of the employment contract regarding all operations, activities, and work performed, and not disclose any information related to the Company's business to third parties.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding salary and compensation throughout the duration of the employment relationship.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure continuous monitoring and supervision of the Park Inn parking facility and its access areas.
- Verify parking space availability and coordinate the efficient allocation of parking spaces.
- Direct guests to the Front Desk for parking registration and payment.
- Maintain accurate daily records of parked vehicles, including guest name, room number, license plate number, and arrival/departure date and time.
- Verify that all vehicles parked have valid payment or the required authorization.
- Identify and report unauthorized or abandoned vehicles, or vehicles without proof of parking payment.
- Monitor the designated pick-up/drop-off area and ensure compliance with the approved maximum stopping time.
- Provide assistance and information to guests regarding access procedures and the use of the Park Inn parking facilities.
- Maintain a continuous presence in the parking area and respond promptly to operational issues or conflicts.
- Cooperate with the Security Control Room in monitoring the parking area through CCTV and report any incidents, suspicious behavior, or violations of procedures.
- Work closely with the Front Office team to reconcile parking records and resolve any discrepancies.
- Verify and authorize complimentary parking access for Sharkia Restaurant guests in accordance with internal procedures and management approvals.
- Maintain records of all complimentary parking privileges granted and the corresponding approvals.
- Immediately report to the direct supervisor any incident, accident, complaint, attempted fraud, or situation that may affect safety or parking revenue.
- Actively contribute to protecting and maximizing revenue generated by the Park Inn parking operation by ensuring proper implementation of procedures and continuous access control.
- Document, report, and follow up on hazardous situations, as well as any violations of Company policies in general and Hotel policies in particular.
- Escort suspicious or undesirable individuals off the property after they have been duly warned, when required.
- Respond appropriately to fire emergencies and any other emergency situations.
- Be prepared to carry out any reasonable duties assigned by Hotel Management, within the employee's capabilities.
- Professionally provide security and protection for assigned areas in order to prevent losses.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of emergency procedures, procedures concerning missing guest or public area property, Lost & Found procedures, and medical emergency response procedures.
- Comply with and apply the Internal Regulations and department-specific procedures.
- In the event of complaints involving guests, contact the Security Manager before involving public authorities.
- Serve as a role model for other employees by demonstrating responsibility and adherence to Company policies, while maintaining regular interaction with guests.
- Build and maintain productive working relationships with all employees.
- Cooperate continuously with all Hotel departments.
- Respond promptly to all telephone calls and other requests for assistance.
- Respond quickly to requests for assistance and resolve conflict situations tactfully while avoiding unnecessary personal risk.
- Inform Management of any dangerous incidents or events occurring within the Hotel.
- Ensure that every guest leaves satisfied.
- Ensure that all fixed security posts identified in the security deployment plan are continuously staffed.
- Monitor compliance with the Company's policy regarding documentation required for the removal of any Hotel property from the premises by employees.
- Inspect equipment used throughout the Hotel and notify the responsible persons of any malfunction or defect.
- Regularly inspect firefighting equipment and maintain knowledge of its proper use.
- Complete, maintain, and safeguard all shift documentation and records.
