Job Overview: The Mobile Voice Core Engineer is responsible for the operation, maintenance, integration, and development of core telecommunications network elements supporting voice services. The role includes network performance monitoring, capacity planning, implementation of new technologies and services, troubleshooting, and collaboration with internal teams and external vendors to ensure service availability, quality, and reliability. Role insights: Operating, maintaining, and supporting mobile voice core network elements and related services. Ensuring the technical readiness, testing, acceptance, and commissioning of core network equipment and services. Monitoring network performance and troubleshooting voice core-related infrastructure and services. Working closely with equipment vendors and service providers to ensure effective support and maintenance and compliance with support and maintenance agreements. Contributing ideas and recommendations for network and process optimization. Supporting incident management activities and participating in on-call support when required. Working with internal teams and external partners to investigate and resolve technical issues. Supporting the implementation of new technologies and services within the mobile voice core environment. Contributing to network availability, reliability, and performance improvements. Supporting capacity planning activities related to voice core services. Participating in planned maintenance activities and technical initiatives related to the voice core environment. What makes you unique: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Telecommunications, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field. At least 1 year of experience in telecommunications, network engineering, or a related technical role. Good understanding of telecommunications core network architecture and functionality. Knowledge of telecom standards, signaling protocols, and technologies. Familiarity with GSM, UMTS, LTE, and VoLTE/IMS environments. Experience with Linux and Windows operating systems. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Team-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills. Adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies. High level of responsibility, reliability, and integrity. Customer and service-oriented attitude. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. Fluent written and spoken English. Nice to Have: Experience with mobile core networks and voice service platforms.
