Weapon System Equipment Engineer - Undergraduate Placement 2027 The Weapon System Equipment (WSE) team is responsible for managing groups of equipment and Weapon System sub-systems from the bidding stage, into the concept & requirements generation phase, through their development programme, and on to production & delivery and final integration onto the platform or launcher. Salary: £24,460 Dynamic (hybrid) working: 2-3 days per week on-site due to workload classification Security clearance: British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. As a minimum and after offer stage, all successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), which are managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team. The opportunity: The WSE team serves as the critical "conduit" of the business, a central point of contact bridging the gap between complex technical engineering and the customers who rely on our solutions. They work across various domains (Land, Naval, and Air) and across the product lifecycle—from early-stage "road mapping" of future ideas to the physical design and delivery of equipment.
