Weapon System Network Communications Engineer - Undergraduate Placement 2027 The Network Communications Department at MBDA is offering a fantastic placement opportunity to undergraduates with a passion for developing and applying their Network Communications skills and knowledge. Salary: £24,460 Dynamic working: 3-4 days per week on-site due to workload classification Security clearance: British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship. Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. As a minimum and after offer stage, all successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), which are managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team. The opportunity: The Network Communications Department is responsible for delivering secure communication systems into MBDA Weapon Systems across the whole Project Life Cycle. As a member of our Department, we will develop you to deliver Systems Engineering and Network Communications expertise to the latest Complex Weapons Projects, in one or more of the following areas: Networked Weapons, Platform to Missile Communications, Battlefield Communications, and Missile-to-Missile Communications.
