YOUR TASKS Plan and coordinate inbound and inter-distribution center transportation activities, including transportation volumes and capacity requirements. Create and manage transportation orders to ensure efficient and reliable shipment execution. Monitor delivery performance and ensure on-time transportation service. Assess, select, and manage logistics service providers based on defined performance and cost criteria. Audit transportation invoices, manage transportation costs, and identify optimization opportunities. Drive continuous improvements to increase transportation efficiency and overall warehouse network performance YOUR PROFILE Several years of experience in Transportation, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management. Strong knowledge of transportation planning, execution, and carrier management. Experience with transportation tenders, provider selection, and contract negotiations. Familiarity with Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and transportation-related technologies. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills in an international business environment. Fluent in English & German, further language skills advantageous WHY BERNER?
