As an engineer you are part of the engine room watch and perform watch duties, with due consideration for the engine room safety. Your responsibilities You carry out duties according to STCW regulation You maintain and repair the technical equipment on board according to instructions of the First or Chief Engineer You operate main and auxiliary machinery and the associated control system You assist the First and Chief engineer for the efficient and safe running maintenance of the equipment You maintain a safe engineering watch You observe the quality, health, safety and environmental system.
