We are driven to do more. More for our customers and the financial professionals who offer our products. If you are driven to do more and love the challenge of pursuing more, Athene is your kind of company. You will find we offer more than the basics to create an inclusive and dynamic work environment at our various locations. Purpose & Impact: Apollo is a $1T global asset manager and a leader in private assets. For decades, defined contribution plans have primarily invested in public market strategies that are highly correlated with each other. We aim to provide purposeful access to private markets strategies either embedded within target date funds, within managed accounts or as standalone solutions, designed to improve diversification, enhance long-term returns, and offer broader exposure to the real economy. Vitera, an affiliate of Apollo, is reshaping how Americans turn retirement savings into reliable income. Our guaranteed income solutions embed lifetime income directly into the default investment option, creating simplicity, scale, and security for participants and plan sponsors alike. Savers turn their assets into long-term guaranteed income streams while preserving flexibility and control. These two solutions together drive superior outcomes for participants and provide retirement security to Americans and citizens around the world. This is a CEO-level priority for Apollo. We have built substantial momentum across recordkeeper platforms, asset management partners, and leading consultants and intermediary firms. Our go-to-market efforts are combined in delivering Apollo private assets and Vitera guaranteed income, with distribution by a single team including coverage of wealth/intermediary, institutional and consultant markets. Our team is built of experienced industry professionals who are motivated to be early movers in bringing needed innovation to the industry. As we grow, we are expanding field coverage across the country. Key Deliverables: The VP Sales, Defined Contribution drives sales of Apollo DC private assets and Vitera guaranteed income to retirement advisors in an assigned territory and carries an annual sales target across both capabilities. The role will work closely with recordkeeper partners and their field organizations to identify opportunities, activate relationships, and drive advisor adoption. Own the annual territory sales target across the full Apollo and Vitera defined contribution offering. Build relationships with retirement plan advisors and recordkeeper field teams, converting national partnerships and platform approvals into local adoption. Develop and execute a territory plan with priority advisors, a consistent activity cadence, pipeline milestones, and measurable sales outcomes. Lead advisor education, field events, and finalist presentations; bring in product specialists for technical depth while retaining ownership of the relationship. Partner collaboratively and strategically with Apollo’s Global Wealth field counterparts to align coverage, share market insights, and win together. Coordinate with recordkeeper partners on joint meetings, campaigns, and opportunities. Use CRM data, market intelligence, and AI tools where appropriate to refine targeting and maintain pipeline discipline.
