Vishay Dale Electronics – Columbus, NE is currently seeking applicants for an Operator 1 Orderfill Weigher, 1st Shift (Monday – Thursday, 5:00am – 3:30pm). Overtime is available as needed. Job Location: Vishay Dale Electronics, Columbus, NE is one of the world’s largest manufacturers of resistors and e-beam technology. Position Summary: Responsible for weighing required amount of parts for the production ticket for Film and Herm Seal areas. What you will be doing: Weigh counts the required amount of parts from Bin Stock to fill the production ticket. Signoff the production ticket with required information. Enters the required information into Prod Info system. Returns Bin Stock boxes to proper location on the Bin Stock shelves after weighing. What you will bring along: High School diploma or equivalent. Must have basic computer knowledge. Ability to interpret production specifications. Must be able to learn and use scale to weigh count orders. Ability to learn process of entering data into Prod Info system. Ability to understand verbal and/or written instructions. Physical Demands, Work Environment and Required Safety Equipment: Must be able to accurately interpret job specifications and information on the production tickets. Must be able to lift 20 to 25lbs. Working in a busy production environment subject to noise and varying lighting levels. May be subject to some dust.
