As a Smelter Operator Trainee, you'll work as part of a collaborative team responsible for supporting the safe and efficient production of aluminium. Certificate II in Engineering Studies completely paid for by Alcoa What you can bring to the role A strong commitment to working safely and following established procedures. A positive attitude and genuine willingness to learn new skills and processes. Good communication skills and the confidence to ask questions and seek guidance when needed. The ability to adapt to new challenges and work in a dynamic operational environment. Experience working with hand tools, power tools, mechanical equipment or machinery in a workplace, trade, farming or recreational setting is encouraged. Drivers licence Alcoa recognises that skills can be developed through training and experience. We value candidates who bring a positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and an eagerness to learn.
