What you will do:
- Keep guest rooms and common areas clean, fresh, and welcoming
- Change, collect, transport, and restock bed and bathroom linens
- Vacuum, sweep, mop, and steam-clean floors as needed
- Dust and clean windows, mirrors, furniture, doors, and other surfaces
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize bathrooms, including toilets, tubs, showers, sinks, and floors
- Refresh kitchens by cleaning appliances, sanitizing countertops, emptying refrigerators, and running dishwashers
- Restock guest supplies and amenities to ensure rooms are ready for arrival
- Handle and report lost-and-found items according to established procedures
- Report maintenance concerns and damaged or missing items
- Verify room and kitchen inventory and document items as needed
- Follow safety procedures when using cleaning chemicals, tools, and equipment
- Keep housekeeping storage and work areas clean and organized
- Maintain shared resort areas, including lobbies, hallways, game rooms, and laundry facilities
- Assist with additional housekeeping duties as needed
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
- Previous housekeeping or hospitality experience preferred
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and exercise good judgment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills when working with guests and team members
- Basic math and inventory management skills
- Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays
- Valid driver’s license, as required by the resort
- Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus, but not required
- Ability to frequently lift and move 10–25 pounds and occasionally lift up to 40 pounds
