Role overview: You’ll have the opportunity to be part of the APAC engineering team of specialists and engineers who support the design, manufacturing, aftermarket, and safety of Rolls-Royce aerospace components globally. What you’ll be doing: Supporting improvement activities in the Materials Operational Laboratory at Seletar (e.g., space optimisation, digitisation of laboratory data) Supporting daily operational activities within the Seletar Materials team as needed (e.g., Health Safety and Environment, supplier and vendor engagement, calibration, and asset management Assisting with technical activities and related communication materials (e.g., sample preparation, binocular imaging, visual inspections) for failure investigations and/or non-destructive evaluation of engine components Assisting with scouting and researching relevant technologies as required Who we’re looking for: Good knowledge preferably in Materials Science, Aerospace, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering Strong communication skills and able to work independently without close supervision and within a team Problem solver, self-motivated with the willingness to learn new skills Our behaviours drive us - we put safety first, do the right thing, keep it simple and make a difference.
