Role overview: The primary role of the Health, Safety and Environment Internship (HSE) is to support the HSE department in fostering a safe, healthy work environment and enhancing employee wellbeing. What you’ll be doing: Participating in scheduled and ad-hoc workplace inspections; document findings and assisting with corrective action follow-up Updating and maintaining safety records, checklists, permits, registers, training logs, inspection reports, and incident logs Supporting the preparation of safety materials, posters, and toolbox talk topics Assisting in organising safety drills and training sessions Encouraging employee participation in safety initiatives Observing and reporting unsafe behaviours or areas for improvement Supporting the implementation of local HSE regulations and standards (e.g., ISO 45001, ISO 14001) Communicating and collaborating with cross-functional teams Preparing meeting minutes for safety committee meetings Who we’re looking for: University students pursuing an Engineering or Safety-related course Proficiency in Microsoft Office Good interpersonal and communication skills A self-starter who takes initiative and values teamwork Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and attention to detail Must be able to work at the Tukang (Jurong) office Our behaviours drive us - we put safety first, do the right thing, keep it simple and make a difference.
