The role owns the treasury sales process from opportunity identification through implementation handoff, drives profitable revenue growth, and delivers a consistent client experience across markets and time zones. Business Development & Sales Execution Develop and execute territory and account plans for a portfolio of U.S. middle market companies. Build a qualified pipeline through relationship-manager partnerships, targeted prospecting and client expansion opportunities. Lead discovery, solution design, proposal development, pricing, negotiation, and closing for treasury opportunities. Meet or exceed annual goals for treasury revenue, deposits, fee income, new mandates, and relationship deepening. Client Advisory & Cross-Border Partnership Partner with Sponsor, Growth & Middle Market (SGMM) relationship managers to develop coordinated client strategies. Advise finance and treasury stakeholders on account structures, liquidity, payments, receivables, cash concentration, fraud mitigation, and digital banking capabilities. Solution Design & Deal Leadership Structure integrated solutions across payables, receivables, liquidity, information reporting, commercial cards, merchant services, fraud prevention, and digital channels. Develop compelling proposals and presentations that clearly articulate the client’s needs, recommended solution, implementation approach and business value. Manage pricing and exception requests within established governance, balancing client objectives, competitive dynamics, risk, and relationship profitability. Mobilize product, implementation, service, legal, compliance, operations, and technology partners to resolve issues and advance complex opportunities. Risk, Implementation & Client Experience Operate in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, internal policies, sanctions requirements, anti-money-laundering standards, and risk controls. Identify operational, fraud, compliance, and execution risks early and engage the appropriate partners for review and mitigation. Provide a complete implementation handoff, remain engaged through onboarding, and help remove obstacles that could affect delivery or client satisfaction. Conduct post-implementation follow-up and periodic relationship reviews to confirm adoption, identify service needs, and uncover additional opportunities. Portfolio & Market Management Monitor portfolio revenue, deposit balances, product penetration, client activity, and retention indicators. Stay current on U.S. and cross-border treasury trends, payment modernization, digital capabilities, and competitor offerings relevant to foreign-owned businesses. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, economics, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. Typically 5+ years of treasury management, transaction banking, commercial banking, corporate banking, or related financial-services experience, including a demonstrated record of sales success. Strong knowledge of cash management, payments, receivables, liquidity, fraud prevention, information reporting, and digital banking solutions.
