Major Accountabilities Accounts Receivable and Credit Management · Manage accounts receivable risk through cash collection, account analysis, dispute resolution, and bad debt management. · Process credit approvals and regularly review customer credit limits, exposure, payment performance, and financial condition. · Manage collection activities for overdue accounts, including external collection and legal follow-up where applicable. · Manage complex and high-value customer accounts and provide reporting on outstanding balances, collection status, and credit exposure. · Ensure timely and accurate processing of customer payments, credit memos, and dispute resolution. Business Partnership and Service Delivery · Partner with customers, Commercial Operations, and relevant teams to support effective accounts receivable management and issue resolution. · Coordinate with local, regional, global, and outsourced teams to ensure seamless service delivery. · Support AR Associates and relevant teams through knowledge sharing and operational guidance. · Drive process improvements and act as a system SME and Super User for accounts receivable processes. Accounting, Reporting and Compliance · Perform month-end closing, balance sheet reconciliations, and account analysis, ensuring timely resolution of outstanding items. · Ensure accurate accounting and appropriate documentation of financial transactions. · Support internal and external audits, including documentation, inquiries, and follow-up actions. · Support accounting information required for corporate income tax adjustments and filings. · Ensure compliance with Alcon accounting and financial control policies, applicable regulations, and SOX requirements. Qualification · Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. A professional accounting or finance qualification is preferred. · Proficiency in Korean and business-level English. · 3–5 years of relevant finance/accounting experience. · Strong knowledge of AR, credit management, collections, and account reconciliation. · Good understanding of month-end closing and accounting principles. · SAP knowledge and audit/tax support experience are preferred. · Strong analytical and stakeholder management skills.
