Learn more about Waterloo Use the Search or filters to easily locate the type of appointment you wish to review. Ensure your résumé/CV and any required documents are up to date and clearly outline your qualifications and relevant experience. Apply using the résumé/CV parsing option to have the system complete some of the fields for you. Note: be sure to review the parsed fields before submitting. We thank all applicants for their interest; however, only qualified applicants will be considered and contacted. Important: Many positions follow term-based hiring cycles. Please refer to individual postings for application deadlines. Use Microsoft Word to create your résumé/CV. Contact information should be the first item on your resume. Use common words for section headers. If the parser doesn’t recognize a section header, it may not parse the information at all. Don’t combine two résumé/CV sections into one. End company names with common company-related abbreviations. E.g., LLC, Inc., Co., and Corp Include skills within your work experience descriptions. Avoid “nesting” jobs if you’ve held several positions at the same company. Include start and end dates for every position. If you’re still working at a position, use common words such as “Current” or “Present” in place of the end date, and spell out the month - rather than using the MM/YY abbreviation.
