Your Role We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Software Development Intern to join our engineering team. This internship provides hands-on experience in software development while working alongside experienced developers on real-world projects. The ideal candidate is passionate about coding, eager to learn, and looking to apply their academic knowledge in a professional environment. Your responsibilities: Assist in developing, testing, and debugging software applications Collaborate with team members on coding projects and feature implementation Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical discussions Help maintain and improve existing codebases Document code and development processes Support quality assurance testing Attend team meetings and contribute ideas Your Background: Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related technical field Basic knowledge of at least one programming language (such as Java, Python, JavaScript, C, or C# - C is preferrable) Understanding of fundamental programming concepts and data structures Familiarity with version control systems (Git preferred) Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Good communication and teamwork abilities Eagerness to learn new technologies and concepts Experience with firmware development with microcontrollers (C, C++) Familiarity with Microcontrollers and programming for embedded systems Knowledge of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum) Previous project experience (academic, personal, or professional) Understanding of object-oriented programming principles Why Join Aptiv You grow at Aptiv.
