Job Description: Job Title: Solution Focused Brief Therapist Location: Springfield, MO Department: Mental Health Services Employment Type: Full-time Shift: Flexible scheduling options: 4 ten-hour days or 5 eight-hour days. While SFBT training and experience is a bonus, it is not a requirement. We will provide training, consultation, and supervision for anyone interested in more experience or brand new to SFBT. As a Solution Focused Brief Therapist, you'll provide individual and group therapy sessions for appropriate client candidates. Position Perks & Benefits: Paid time off - 29 days per year including vacation & holiday pay Mileage reimbursement - company paid for work functions requiring travel NHSC approved - eligible site for tax-free student loan assistance Top-notch training - initial, ongoing, comprehensive, and supportive Career mobility - advancement opportunities/promoting from within Welcoming, warm, supportive - a work culture & environment that promotes your well-being, values you as human being, and encourages your health and happiness Key Responsibilities: Provide individual Solution-Focused Brief therapy (SFBT) for appropriate client candidates (Training on the Solution Focused Brief Therapy modality of care will be provided) Conduct Solution-Focused Brief group therapy sessions for appropriate client candidates Employ Motivational Interviewing skills to assess stage of change and utilize appropriate interventions Work with medical partnerships to provide assessment and therapy for referral and/or care pathway needs Complete initial assessments for new clients as needed Education and/or Experience Qualifications: Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or related field At least 2 years of relative experience Required License/Certification (one of the following): Missouri License as a Licensed Psychologist (LP), Provisionally Licensed Psychologist (PLP), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Provisionally Licensed Professional Counselor (PLPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Masters Social Worker (LMSW), Licensed Marital and Family Therapist (PLMFT), or Provisionally Licensed Marital and Family Therapist (PLMFT) Brightli is on a Mission: A mission to improve client care, reduce the financial burden of community mental health centers by sharing resources, a mission to have a larger voice in advocacy to increase access to mental health and substance use care in our communities, and a mission to evolve the behavioral health industry to better meet the needs of our clients.
