SENIOR LEVELPRODUCT
As a Product & Pricing Domain Expert, you will provide digital product, functional and solution expertise for the global Product Catalogue and Pricing digital product domain. Based in Barcelona and part of OS&S Transform & Digital, Solution Design – Sales & Marketing, the role supports the Digital Product Owner in evolving, implementing and adopting Product Information Management (PIM) and Pricing Tool capabilities across OMN, OSM and OPP. The role acts as the technology counterpart to the business and Global Process Owners. It translates business-owned processes, policies and requirements into scalable digital product capabilities, functional designs and technology solutions. Business and Global Process Owners retain ownership of process definitions, policies, business rules and governance; this role focuses on product capabilities, functional solution design, configuration, implementation, integration and lifecycle expertise. Main Accountabilities Act as the domain and solution expert for Product Catalogue and Pricing digital products, supporting the Digital Product Owner with product strategy, roadmap development, backlog refinement, prioritization, lifecycle management and value realization. Translate business-owned processes, policies and requirements into digital product capabilities, functional requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, data requirements, configuration specifications and solution designs. Partner with Global Process Owners and business stakeholders to understand their process definitions, business rules, governance requirements and priorities, and determine how these should be enabled through the Product Catalogue and Pricing technology landscape. Provide functional ownership and expertise for the technology solution, including product configuration, functional architecture and system behavior within PIM and Pricing applications, ensuring alignment with approved business requirements and enterprise architecture standards. Support the evolution of the digital product roadmap by assessing business requirements, technology opportunities, dependencies, product constraints and implementation options and translating them into actionable product increments. Provide functional leadership for PIM and Pricing Tool implementations and extensions, including integrations with SAP SD-LE, Salesforce CPQ/CRM, Pricefx, ERP, eCommerce, product master data and analytics platforms. Lead the solution-side activities of fit-gap assessments and design workshops, evaluating how business-defined requirements can be supported through standard product capabilities, configuration, extensions and integrations while minimizing unnecessary customization. Lead or support functional delivery activities including solution prototyping, proofs of concept, configuration, testing, deployment, data migration and release readiness, in coordination with business and technical delivery teams. Ensure end-to-end solution consistency across Product Catalogue and Pricing applications and their interfaces, identifying technology dependencies, integration impacts, data implications and potential solution risks. Maintain complete and auditable product and solution documentation, including functional designs, configuration decisions, system behavior, interfaces, data mappings, controls, product specifications and relevant user documentation. Support business validation, training and adoption from the product perspective by providing solution expertise, demonstrating product capabilities and enabling business stakeholders and Global Process Owners to validate that delivered functionality meets agreed requirements. Support service transition and continuous product improvement by working with the Service Manager, Digital Product Owner and delivery teams to analyze incidents, recurring defects, product usability issues, adoption barriers and operational feedback, translating relevant findings into potential product backlog items. Act as an internal digital product and solution consultant, promoting effective use of standard product capabilities, sharing product knowledge and providing functional guidance to colleagues and external implementation partners. Support product delivery management when required, including delivery planning, dependency management, technology risk identification and escalation, vendor coordination and progress reporting. Qualifications and Skills Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Information Systems, Business Administration, Engineering, Economics or a related field. Experience: Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, preferably 7–10 years, in digital solutions, commercial process design or enterprise implementations. Proven experience with SAP SD-LE, Salesforce CPQ, Pricefx or a comparable enterprise pricing/PIM solution. Strong functional knowledge of B2B Pricing and/or Product Catalogue management, including pricing models, margin and discount structures, PIM, product master data, taxonomy and data quality. Strong capabilities in digital product lifecycle management, requirements engineering, functional solution design, product configuration, fit-gap analysis and roadmap development.• Ability to translate business-defined processes and rules into clear functional and technical requirements without assuming ownership of the underlying business process. Excellent stakeholder management, facilitation, communication and problem-solving skills in an international matrix organization. Practical experience with Agile, hybrid and traditional delivery methodologies; integration experience across pricing, PIM, SAP, Salesforce, eCommerce or analytics platforms is beneficial. Languages: Excellent written and spoken English is required. Spanish is strongly preferred; additional languages are an advantage.
