Qualifications / Requirements Required Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Computer, or Software Engineering, or an equivalent qualification; alternatively, at least 3 years of experience implementing material-handling or industrial controls systems, or at least 1 year of experience with PLC applications. Strong analytical, system-level thinking, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize activities, research solutions, and balance quality, lead time, cost, and risk. Experience with system integration processes, including requirements management, verification and validation, change management, and configuration management. Strong written and verbal English communication skills, a proactive and pragmatic approach, and the ability to build partnerships, motivate stakeholders, and take responsibility for project completion. Preferred Familiarity with customer processes and operational requirements in warehouse automation. Solid understanding of networking principles and computer hardware selection and setup. Opportunities to work closely with customers, suppliers, and multidisciplinary engineering teams. Professional development through hands-on project experience and exposure to advanced material-handling technologies. On-Call Support: Occasional after-hours on-call support may be required. Physical Requirements: Must be able to climb a two-story ladder, walk one mile in 20 minutes, lift up to 30 pounds, and work for up to 10 hours standing, sitting, walking, or climbing stairs.
