As Strategic Pricing Manager, you own the most direct lever on MRI profitability: price. You shape and deploy the global MRI pricing strategy, translating market, competitive and deal insight into price decisions that protect margin, defend market share and secure profitable growth across regions and markets. This is a highly visible role with direct exposure to the MRI leadership team. This role is an excellent fit for a commercially minded pricing professional who takes end-to-end ownership, gives clear answers to business questions, and moves quickly from insight to action. Your role: Shape and deploy the global MRI pricing strategy together with a Netherlands-based counterpart: set price positioning and price guidance by segment, region and portfolio, balancing margin, market share and win rate. Act as the pricing business partner to regions and markets: provide fast, fact-based recommendations on deal pricing and escalations, and own discount governance and exception management. Drive price realisation and margin delivery: track net price, price erosion and mix against target, explain the drivers in business reviews, and deploy corrective actions with regions and Finance. Develop value-based pricing for new product introductions and upgrades, and develop new business models (e.g. subscription, as-a-service, multi-year agreements) in response to changing customer needs. Steer portfolio and mix through value- and profitability-based segmentation, price-versus-configuration analysis and mix-steering initiatives. Own the pricing process and tools: price-list maintenance and price loads into SAP and quotation systems, data quality, controls and continuous automation. You will join the Marketing Operations, Planning and Performance team for the MRI business, which includes Market Intelligence, Pricing & Business Models, Commercial Analytics, Clinical Insights and Commercial Catalogue, and report to the MR Marketing Operations, Planning and Performance Lead. You will work in tandem with a Netherlands-based counterpart who connects pricing to the end-to-end commercial performance agenda, and in close partnership with Product Management, Finance, regional business leaders, the MRI Customer Services pricing team and local markets worldwide. You're the right fit if: (4 x bullets max) Master’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, Finance, Engineering or an exact science. 7+ years of progressive experience in B2B pricing, commercial strategy or strategy consulting, ideally in medical technology or B2B technology, with international scope (multi-country or regional; global experience preferred). Proven track record of owning pricing decisions end-to-end with measurable price and margin impact; hands-on value-based and deal pricing experience. A true business partner: takes ownership, leads with the answer and a clear recommendation, and influences senior stakeholders across functions, regions and cultures. Strong financial acumen: price-volume-mix and margin bridges, net price waterfalls, price elasticity and business cases (NPV, ROI, break-even). Advanced Excel and Power BI; experience with SAP and CRM (Salesforce); SQL or Python is a plus. Fluent English, and flexibility to work across time zones with Europe and the Americas.
