Position Title Risk Management Automation Solution Analyst Location Hicksville, NY 11801 Job Summary The Risk Management Automation Solution Analyst role exists to design, develop, and implement automated and AI-driven solutions that enhance the efficiency, accuracy, and visibility of risk management processes, controls, and reporting. The role partners with risk managers and business stakeholders to identify and transform manual workflows into scalable, data-driven solutions - leveraging tools such as Python, SQL, machine learning frameworks, RPA platforms, and data visualization technologies to support anomaly detection, predictive analytics, and regulatory reporting. Job Responsibilities: JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Design, develop, and implement automated solutions to streamline risk management workflows, monitoring, and reporting. Build and maintain AI/ML models to support risk division in repetitive activities (e.g., anomaly detection, predictive analytics). Develop dashboards and automated reporting tools to improve visibility into risks and emerging trends. Collaborate with risk managers and business stakeholders to identify manual processes suitable for automation and prioritize solution development. Integrate data from multiple sources to create unified, reliable datasets for risk analysis and regulatory reporting. Evaluate and recommend emerging AI tools, platforms, and technologies that can enhance the team's capabilities. Document solution designs, code, and processes to ensure transparency, reproducibility, and auditability. Support governance and validation efforts for AI/ML models in alignment with AI frameworks. Uses independent judgement and discretion to make model development decisions. Analyzes and resolves problems pertaining to model performance issues. ADDITIONAL ACCOUNTABILITIES Performs special projects, and additional duties and responsibilities as required. Consistently adheres to regulatory and compliance policies and standards linked to the job as listed and complete required compliance trainings. Accountable to maintain compliance with applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. JOB REQUIREMENTS Required Qualifications: Education level required: Undergraduate Degree (4 years or equivalent) Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related technical field. Minimum experience required: 2+ Years (including internships, academic projects, or freelance work) in one or more of the following: Python, R, SQL, or similar programming languages, Machine learning / AI frameworks, Robotic Process Automation (RPA) tools (e.g., Power Automate, Automation Anywhere), Data visualization tools (e.g., PowerBI, PowerAutomate). Preferred Qualifications: Exposure to banking, financial services, or risk management concepts. Familiarity with regulatory frameworks (e.g., OCC guidelines, FDIC regulations, Basel standards). Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and API integrations. Knowledge of generative AI applications (e.g., LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG architectures). Understanding of model risk management principles and AI governance best practices. Relevant certifications such as AWS Cloud Practitioner, Azure AI Fundamentals, or FRM/PRM. Job Competencies: Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with high attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to clearly articulate, in writing or orally, ideas, analytic insights, and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences, including an executive audience. An ability to identify key problems, conduct in-depth research, and articulate well-reasoned solutions. Ability to analyze, collect, research and understand complex data. Demonstrates a strong ability to build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders by communicating clearly, engaging in proactive collaboration, and leveraging cross functional insights.
