Job Location Cockrill Bend- Warehouse Job Summary: The Lead Warehouse Associate will provide timely, efficient loading and unloading services for the departments. Job Description Essential Functions Loading and unloading all materials for plant operation that requires the use of the tow motor. Checking the proper stacking, wrapping, and banding of any materials on skids to ensure its safe transportation. Ensuring safe operation of tow motor and pallet jack. Checking incoming freight for quantity, quality, and ensuring that regulations are met. Inspecting engine oil level and other fluid levels daily to ensure proper engine performance. Weekly cleaning of Tow Motor especially dust from the radiator. Providing dock work as needed or instructed by Manager Coordinating storage of all seasonal materials with Warehouse Manager or the Director of Production. Assisting manager in carrying out program plans for workers with disabilities. Maintaining current inventory of material in warehouse. Be knowledgeable of and comply with all company policies and procedures, as well as legal requirements, at all times. Regular, reliable attendance, as defined in Goodwill’s attendance policy. Maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Minimum Qualifications Required Skills: Education None. Experience No experience is necessary Knowledge and Skills Ability to follow verbal instructions and to work as a team member. Ability to prioritize demands from different departments. Must have the ability to lift of carry 75 pounds continuously. Must have knowledge of proper methods of lifting, pushing, and pulling materials. Must be able to learn the techniques of the job from short demonstration up to and including one month. Must be able to read and do basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division).
