In this role, you will be responsible for operating tow trucks to assist customers with vehicle towing and roadside recovery services. Responsibilities
- Operate tow trucks safely and efficiently to transport vehicles.
- Respond promptly to dispatch requests and provide timely towing services.
- Secure vehicles properly on the tow truck to avoid damage during transport.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of tow trucks to ensure optimal functionality.
- Communicate effectively with customers, dispatchers, and other team members.
- Complete required documentation and maintain accurate service records.
- Adhere to all safety policies, traffic laws, and company procedures.
- Assist customers professionally and provide excellent customer service during all interactions.
- Maintain tow truck cleanliness and perform routine maintenance checks.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; CDL preferred.
- Previous experience as a tow truck driver is an advantage.
- Knowledge of towing equipment and proper vehicle securing techniques.
- Ability to operate tow trucks in various weather and road conditions.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and on-call shifts.
