Senior Network Engineer.

Responsibilities:

Network Administration
- Perform network administration in a heterogeneous environment (production, DR, test) comprising network & security equipment and telecommunication links.
- Conduct hardening, upgrades, and enhancements on IT infrastructure components.
- Monitor, assess, schedule, and implement network and product-specific security vulnerability patches.
- Track obsolescence of IT infrastructure components (network systems).
- Monitor expiry and renew network system passwords and certificates.
- Implement network backup operations to ensure data recoverability and business continuity.
- Execute disaster recovery plans for IT infrastructure (network systems) and conduct regular disaster recovery testing and component switchover exercises to ensure usability of standby and DR equipment.
- Provide 24 x 7 support (in 5 shifts).

Project Management & Support
- Provide infrastructure (system & network) support to projects in accordance with project timelines.
- Manage infrastructure enhancement/upgrade projects following established project management guidelines.

Incident & Problem Management
- Provide second-level network support and resolve incidents and problems in accordance with established Service Level Agreements (SLA).
- Diagnose problems on incidents and propose and implement measures to prevent recurrence.

Change & Release Management
- Schedule and release network system changes to the production environment in accordance with change management processes and procedures.

Configuration Management
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive operating system hardware and software configuration database/library of all IT infrastructure components used in the production environment.

Capacity & Performance Management
- Monitor and plan infrastructure system and network capacity.
- Perform performance tuning to optimize network performance.

Process Management
- Implement underlying processes supporting IT service management, in conformance with corporate security policies and guidelines.

Documentation
- Develop and maintain technical and process documents to support IT infrastructure.

Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience managing network and security equipment such as Routers, Switches, Firewalls, VPN, Load Balancer, DNS, NAC.
- Ability to support 24/7 operations.

- Certifications preferred: Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), Check Point Certified Security Administrator (CCSA), Check Point Certified Security Expert (CCSE), Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Administrator (PCNSA), Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE), NSE (up to level 4), Certified Network Defender (CND).
