Penn E&R is seeking a full-time Civil Engineer (Entry-Level). While you will be based out of our Pittsburgh, PA office, we offer hybrid flexibility. You will have the opportunity to perform a wide range of tasks across all of Penn E&R’s market sectors and be expected to perform both office-based and field-based assignments. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Preparation of site plans, erosion and sediment control plans, post-construction stormwater management plans, and land development/subdivision plans. Hydrology and hydraulic and drainage calculations. Erosion and sediment control design. Stormwater management calculations. Post-Construction Stormwater Management BMP design. Infiltration Testing. AutoCAD/Civil 3D and standard drafting techniques and applications with experience in the preparation of the following: Creating 3-D surfaces Grading plans Profiles/cross-sections Pipe networks and corridors Working with Project Managers to coordinate with clients and prepare proposals. Qualifications include: Bachelor of Science degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering or related field. Engineer In Training license. 0 to 3 years of civil engineering experience. EIT a plus. Schooling and/or work experience in the following is a plus: Hydrology and hydraulics Erosion and sediment controls Stormwater management controls AutoCAD Civil 3D We know that great work happens when people feel supported both on and off the job.
