Sign-On Bonus for External applicants or current CHW MA Apprentice Students only About the Practice HDVCH Congenital Heart Center is a large medical and surgical practice. Our primary location is at 25 Michigan, Suite 4200 NE, Grand Rapids, across the street from HDVCH. We have outreach locations in Traverse City, Reed City, Muskegon, Holland and St. Joseph. We currently have 24 cardiologists, 5 surgeons, 5 APP’s, and 6 fellows. It is a very busy practice, specializing in patient with “congenital” (born with) heart disease, from unborn babies, until end of life. Our medical assistants work in pods with either another MA or an ACT, to facilitate a smooth workflow for our providers tight schedules. Each pod will have a daily rotation of 2-3 providers. Our clinical team works closely with our providers, perform chart prep, perform EKG on most patients, and place cardiac monitors when ordered during clinic. About Outpatient Clinics Corewell Health operates over 300 outpatient clinics across Michigan, bringing a multitude of care options to the communities that we serve. There are over 40 different types of primary care and specialty practices, which allows those who work in these clinics the opportunity to learn and explore various interests or to specialize in one area.
