In dieser Rolle agierst Du als vertrauensvoller Business Partner für das Management und verschiedene Fachbereiche und trägst maßgeblich zur Weiterentwicklung der steuerlichen Compliance- und Governance-Strukturen bei. Als Tax Manager Compliance & Prozesse unterstützt Du die Tax-Compliance-Insourcing-Strategie von QIAGEN und arbeitest aktiv an der Optimierung steuerlicher Prozesse, der Weiterentwicklung des Tax Compliance Management Systems sowie an nationalen und internationalen Projekten im Bereich Unternehmensbesteuerung. Dabei arbeitest Du eng mit internen Stakeholdern und externen Steuerberatern zusammen und gestaltest die Zukunft unserer Tax Function aktiv mit. Deine Aufgaben Du entwickelst das Tax Compliance Management System kontinuierlich weiter und unterstützt Initiativen in den Bereichen Tax Governance, Tax Quality und Change Management. Du unterstützt das jährliche Tax Reporting auf Gesellschafts- und Konzernebene, einschließlich der Berechnung steuerlicher Positionen sowie steuerlicher Angaben nach US GAAP und lokalen Rechnungslegungsvorschriften. Du koordinierst Direct-Tax-Compliance-Prozesse und steuerliche Deklarationen gemeinsam mit externen Beratern im DACH-Raum. Du überwachst weitere steuerliche Compliance-Verpflichtungen innerhalb der DACH-Region und pflegst den Tax Compliance Calendar. Du verantwortest Themen im Bereich Quellensteuer (Withholding Tax), einschließlich Melde- und Deklarationspflichten, und identifizierst Optimierungspotenziale in bestehenden Prozessen. Du bist Ansprechpartner für Accounting, Treasury, Legal, Operations und weitere interne Stakeholder bei steuerlichen Fragestellungen. Du unterstützt bei Betriebsprüfungen, Tax-Planning-Aktivitäten sowie steuerlichen Restrukturierungsprojekten. Dein Profil Du hast ein abgeschlossenes Studium der Betriebswirtschaftslehre, Wirtschaftswissenschaften oder Volkswirtschaftslehre mit Schwerpunkt Steuern und/oder Accounting oder verfügst über eine vergleichbare Qualifikation. Du bringst mindestens fünf Jahre relevante Berufserfahrung in einer internationalen Steuerberatungsgesellschaft (z. B. Big 4) und/oder in der Steuerfunktion eines multinationalen Unternehmens mit. Du verfügst über fundierte Kenntnisse im Bereich Direct Tax Compliance, Tax Accounting und Tax Reporting. Du arbeitest selbstständig, strukturiert und mit einem hohen Qualitäts- und Verantwortungsbewusstsein. Du hast Erfahrung im Umgang mit Microsoft Office sowie Steuer- und ERP-Systemen wie DATEV und SAP. Du kommunizierst sicher in Deutsch und Englisch, sowohl schriftlich als auch mündlich. Du überzeugst durch ausgeprägte Teamfähigkeit sowie starke Stakeholder-Management- und Kommunikationsfähigkeiten.
