Your mission
The objective of this role is to build up the research and development team and establish a high-quality development process in Vietnam while ensuring regular exchanges with the German R&D team. Additionally, the role aims to control projects to meet quality, time, and cost targets, closely cooperate with the manufacturing team, and coordinate with the global purchasing team to optimize product costs.- Establish a high-quality development process in VN
- Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from initial concept through to final production, ensuring timely and successful product launches
- Regular exchange with German R&D team
- Control projects to ensure quality, time and costs of the projects
- Cooperate closely with manufacturing team in improving our products and their assembly processes
- Coordinate with global purchasing team to optimize product costs
- Ensure all development activities comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Efficiently allocate resources, including personnel and budget, to various projects based on priority and potential impact.
- Mentor and develop team members, providing opportunities for skill enhancement and career growth.
- Establish and manage relationships with external partners, including suppliers, research institutions, and technology providers.
- Other tasks assigned by superior.
Your profile
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in electronic engineering, mechatronics, physics, or other related field.
- More than 5 years of experience in leading larger development teams.
- Beneficial is previous experience in battery or charger development.
- Experience in using Siemens NX is priority.
- MS office, SAP is an advantage.
- Excellent Vietnamese and English language skills (written and spoken).
