Job Description:
- Design, develop, and maintain native Android applications using Kotlin based on business and technical requirements.
- Build responsive, secure, and high-performance mobile applications following Android development standards and best practices.
- Integrate mobile applications with RESTful APIs, backend services, and third-party SDKs to support business functionality.
- Optimize application performance, troubleshoot issues, and resolve bugs to ensure application stability and reliability.
- Implement modern Android architecture components, reusable modules, and maintainable code following MVVM or Clean Architecture principles.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers, backend developers, QA engineers, and business stakeholders throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, and application publishing activities while ensuring compliance with coding standards and security guidelines.
- Monitor application performance, provide production support, and continuously enhance existing mobile applications.
Requirements
Qualification:
- At least 3–5 years of experience in native Android application development.
- Strong proficiency in Kotlin and the Android SDK.
- Experience developing applications using Android Jetpack components such as ViewModel, LiveData, Navigation, Room, and WorkManager.
- Solid understanding of MVVM, Clean Architecture, and Android application lifecycle.
- Experience integrating RESTful APIs, JSON, and backend services into Android applications.
- Proficient in Android Studio, Gradle, Git, and version control workflows.
- Experience with local data storage technologies such as Room, SQLite, or DataStore.
- Familiar with dependency injection frameworks such as Hilt or Dagger.
- Knowledge of application security, performance optimization, debugging, and memory management.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and mobile application deployment through the Google Play Console is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team.
