Remote Recruitment is hiring a Finance Administrator for a UK-based employer, fully remote from South Africa.
Role overview
Remote Recruitment places South African talent with UK employers, and this is a full-time, 100% remote position working UK business hours. In this role, you will own the day-to-day finance admin that keeps a UK team's books accurate. You will join a friendly team, work with clear processes, and have the support you need to do your best work from home.

Key responsibilities
- Process supplier invoices and match them to purchase orders
- Prepare payment runs for approval
- Reconcile bank statements to the ledger each week
- Maintain tidy finance records and filing
- Answer routine supplier and staff finance queries
What you'll need
- Experience in finance or bookkeeping administration, with examples of accurate month-end support
- Familiarity with Xero, QuickBooks or Sage
- Strong Excel skills including lookups and pivot tables
- A reliable laptop, stable fibre internet and a quiet workspace
- Availability for 09:00–17:00 UK time (11:00–19:00 SAST)
Nice to have
- Experience with Dext or Hubdoc
- Familiarity with UK VAT
- Experience supporting month-end close
