As Area Visual Merchandiser France, you lead the implementation of our global Visual Merchandising standards across our French retail network. Combining your eye for styling with a strong commercial mindset, you help teams create inspiring, recognisable and commercially effective presentations of our jewellery, clothing and accessories.
Our Visual Merchandising strategy and brand standards are developed and directed by our central VM team in the Netherlands. You translate this direction into effective execution in France, adapting presentations to different spaces and commercial situations within our global guidelines. You share local customer insights and improvement opportunities with the central team and contribute to practical tools and training that can be used across our wider network.
Your scope includes our existing boutiques and new openings, and will grow to include concession and consignment locations as these partnerships develop in France. You help deliver a consistent brand experience across these different retail environments.
Working closely with the Area Manager, you coach Store Managers and teams to confidently apply and maintain VM and Retail Standards independently. You use sales insights and observations on the shop floor to set priorities, test improvements and evaluate their results.
You report to our Head of Visual Merchandising and work closely with colleagues at our headquarters in ’s-Hertogenbosch, the Netherlands. Ideally based in or around Paris, you travel regularly throughout France and visit our headquarters for alignment, training and collaboration.
Your tasks
You implement global VM guidelines, collection launches and window concepts across our French boutiques and, as our network expands, concession and consignment locations;
You adapt product presentations to different layouts, available stock and commercial priorities while maintaining our brand standards;
You coach Store Managers and teams through practical training, clear feedback and follow-up, helping them maintain strong visual standards independently;
You use sales insights and shop-floor observations to identify opportunities, test improvements and evaluate the results;
You plan and prioritise visits and follow-up actions together with the Area Manager and central VM team;
You share local customer insights, visual feedback and improvement opportunities with our central VM team;
You contribute to VM checklists, training materials and communication that support consistent execution across our growing network;
You support new openings, from the visual setup to training teams and following up after launch.
What success looks like
Success in this role means consistent visual execution across France, teams who confidently maintain our standards, and a structured approach to testing and improving commercial presentation. As our network grows, your coaching and follow-up help new locations deliver the same recognisable My Jewellery experience.
You have 3–5 years of relevant Visual Merchandising experience within fashion or lifestyle retail, including experience supporting multiple stores;
You are confident working with different layouts, teams and commercial situations, translating central guidelines into effective local execution;
You have experience achieving results through others, using coaching, training and constructive feedback to help teams take ownership of VM standards;
You can demonstrate how you have used sales insights and shop-floor observations to improve product presentation and evaluate the results;
You have a strong sense of space, styling and presentation, combined with a practical, commercial approach;
You have a relevant qualification in Visual Merchandising, design or fashion, or equivalent practical experience;
You are fluent in French and English; Spanish is a plus;
You work independently and proactively, organise your priorities effectively and are comfortable travelling regularly throughout France and to our headquarters in the Netherlands;
You preferably live in or around Paris.
