This is an opportunity to apply your technical expertise in SAP PM and maintenance data management while contributing to continuous improvement across a complex engineering environment.

As a CMMS Engineer, you will:

  • Support engineering and brownfield projects by providing maintenance master data assurance and ensuring information is accurately captured and maintained.
  • Provide first-line CMMS support to maintenance and operational teams, resolving system-related queries and providing guidance on best practices.
  • Support CMMS enhancements, upgrades, testing and implementation activities.
  • Analyse maintenance and operational data to identify trends, improve data quality and support maintenance performance improvements.
  • Contribute to data improvement initiatives, including data cleansing, benchmarking, reporting and process standardisation.
  • Develop and maintain reports and performance metrics to support maintenance KPIs and operational decision-making.
  • Provide training and guidance to system users, promoting consistent and effective use of SAP PM.
  • Collaborate with engineering, maintenance and project stakeholders to identify opportunities for continuous improvement in maintenance processes and systems.

Requirements

    • Hands-on experience managing SAP PM master data, including asset registers, maintenance plans, task lists and Bills of Materials.
    • Good understanding of Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and maintenance data management principles.
    • Knowledge of maintenance planning, scheduling and performance management processes.
    • Experience maintaining and improving data quality, accuracy and governance within maintenance or asset management systems.
    • Ability to analyse maintenance data, identify inconsistencies and support process improvements.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis and reporting.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail.
    • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across technical and operational teams.

Desirable experience:

    • Experience working within oil and gas, energy or other asset-intensive industrial environments.
    • Experience using Power BI or other reporting and business intelligence tools.
    • Exposure to predictive maintenance technologies, maintenance AI tools or digital maintenance solutions.
    • Experience supporting CMMS system upgrades, enhancements, testing or deployment activities.
