MCD Global Health

Remote – Worldwide

Call for Multiple Candidates Supporting Gavi 6.0.

FULL TIMEREMOTE

Over the past 40 years, MCD Global Health has worked to strengthen health systems through integrated, sustainable, and locally driven interventions across several public health sectors. MCD collaborates with donors, national governments, the private sector, health agencies, communities, and local stakeholders to improve health and save lives in the following areas: malaria prevention and control; water, sanitation, and hygiene; maternal, neonatal, and child health; health system strengthening; HIV/AIDS; Zika; and other communicable diseases.

MCD is now officially included in Gavi’s list of awarded suppliers for Gavi 6.0, which focuses on increasing equitable and sustainable use of vaccines. Under this framework agreement, which remains active until December 31, 2030, Gavi may invite MCD to participate in a secondary bidding process.

MCD is currently seeking multiple candidates to support these potential service requests. The timeline for these positions is not yet determined, but they will generally fall between 2026 and 2030. Additionally, these positions may require various levels of effort, ranging from part-time to full-time. Please note that there is no guarantee of immediate employment at this stage.

There will be multiple successful candidates fulfilling various roles. In general, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Professional experience in one or more of the following:

    o Benin

    o Madagascar

  • Experience in designing and implementing knowledge, attitudes, and practices (KAP) surveys, or user acceptance surveys.

  • Experience collaborating with multiple civil society organizations to provide immunization services.

  • Advanced degree in Medicine, Public Health, Epidemiology, or a related field.

  • Strong understanding of M&E principles, methods, and tools, including digital tools, and a proven record of designing and implementing immunization programs’ MEL systems.

  • Substantial experience tracking, monitoring, and evaluating progress in implementing immunization/EPI initiatives in low- and middle-income countries.
