Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain current test cases and plans, ensuring alignment with requirements and policy alterations.
- Establish, upkeep, and enhance automated test frameworks and environments.
- Execute testing on novel features and document identified defects.
- Conduct a variety of tests including manual, functional, performance, and exploratory tests.
- Engage in User Acceptance Tests (UATs) and contribute to resolving production cases.
- Active participation in all agile ceremonies.
Requirements
- Degree in software engineering, computer engineering, electrical engineering, or related Infocomm disciplines.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in software quality testing with hands-on automation.
- Profound understanding of various testing techniques.
- Familiarity with test-driven development (TDD), continuous integration (CI), and continuous delivery (CD).
- Exposure to Java and Spring Boot frameworks would be advantageous.
- Experience with open-source automated testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cucumber, JUnit) or enterprise-level testing tools (e.g., HP Mobile Center, HP UFT, HP QC, Sprinter).
- Familiarity with open-source performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Gatling, Locust) or enterprise-level testing tools (e.g., HP LoadRunner).
- Exposure to open-source penetration testing tools (e.g., ZAP, Burp Suite, SQL Map) or enterprise-level penetration testing tools (e.g., HP WebInspect, Nessus, CheckMarx).
- Previous work experience in an Agile environment would be beneficial.
- Excellent verbal communication skills and a receptive listener.
- A proactive, self-motivated attitude towards work.
