Job Summary Support activities relating to the daily production and test environment of ZOLL Medical products, in an experienced level capacity. Essential Functions Daily production support to build and repair various complex test fixtures and cables. Troubleshoots manufacturing failures or conducts laboratory activities in support of root cause analysis and identification of corrective actions, in conjunction with yield improvement activities. Assists with process development and improvement activities. Supports the implementation and validation of process and product documentation. Develops and implements various tooling and fixtures to meet the needs of the Manufacturing department. Supports and implements preventative maintenance and calibration programs. Required/Preferred Education and Experience High School Requires a minimum of a high school degree with experience in electronics or a Vocational/Technical degree or equivalent. required Should have a minimum of 3 years of direct floor support experience in an electro mechanical and electronics assembly and test environment including troubleshooting activities and the operation of automated production equipment. required IPC Soldering Certification a plus. Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Ability to work independently, with limited supervision. Ability to build and rework complex PCB assemblies with surface mount and through-hole components. Ability to build and rework complex cables and test fixtures using wiring diagrams, assembly diagrams or BOMs. Ability to read and work with technical drawings and electrical schematics. Familiarity with operating in an ISO-9000 and Lean Manufacturing environment a plus. Computer literacy is required.
