.What you’ll do
- Prepare and set up surgical instruments, supplies, sterile solutions, and equipment before procedures
- Maintain a sterile field throughout plastic surgery and elective cosmetic procedures
- Assist plastic surgeons and the surgical team by passing instruments, supplies, sponges, needles, and sharps
- Perform and document accurate surgical counts, including instruments, sponges, and needles
- Support patient preparation before surgery
- Clean, sterilize, package, and organize surgical instruments after procedures
- Follow aseptic technique, safety protocols, and infection-control standards
- Work collaboratively with surgeons, clinical staff, and aesthetic professionals in a fast-paced surgical setting
What we’re looking for
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Surgical Scrub Technician, Surgical Technologist, Scrub Tech, or Operating Room Technician in a surgical setting
- Experience in plastic surgery, cosmetic surgery, outpatient surgery, or multiple surgical specialties preferred
- Knowledge of aseptic technique, sterile field maintenance, surgical instrumentation, and instrument sterilization
- Surgical Scrub Technician certification or completion of a surgical technologist program
- Associate degree in Surgical Technology preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask, stay organized, and work effectively as part of a surgical team
- High attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
Physical requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods during surgical procedures
- Ability to bend, reach, push, pull, and lift standard medical, surgical, and aesthetic equipment
- Ability to safely handle needles, sharps, instruments, medical supplies, and inventory
