  • Handle administrative tasks such as answering phones, scheduling appointments, processing referrals, and managing inbound and outbound patient communications
  • Assist with processing prior authorizations, laboratory and imaging orders, and prescription refill requests under provider guidance
  • Follow all infection prevention, safety, and compliance policies, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and disposal of biohazardous materials
  • Support billing and coding processes by ensuring accurate capture of visit reasons, procedures, and diagnoses, as directed by practice protocols
  • Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to support quality improvement initiatives and enhance patient experience
  • Participate in ongoing training, staff meetings, and continuing education to maintain current knowledge of clinical best practices and regulatory requirements
  • Work in the front as Support Staff as needed.
  • Being willing to work at sister site as needed.

  • Previous experience working as a Medical Assistant or in a clinical healthcare setting preferred
  • Proficiency in English with strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic proficiency with computers and experience using electronic health records (EHR) or similar clinical documentation systems
  • Solid understanding of basic medical terminology, vital signs, and routine clinical procedures
  • Knowledge of standard infection control practices, universal precautions, and workplace safety guidelines
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated ability to provide compassionate, culturally sensitive patient care and maintain professionalism in all interactions
  • Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and all applicable privacy regulations
  • Reliable attendance, punctuality, and flexibility to work the assigned full-time schedule, which may include occasional weekends or extended hours depending on department needs
