Responsibilities
- Pricing and trading both leveraged and unleveraged ETFs across Japan and Hong Kong
- Monitoring ETF fair value, tracking errors, and arbitrage opportunities across primary and secondary markets
- Developing and maintaining reports, dashboards, and monitoring systems to track performance, risk, and operational health
- Managing ETF lifecycle events including index rebalances, corporate actions, and dividend adjustments
- Collaborating with quantitative researchers to enhance and scale existing trading strategies
- Continuously analyzing market structure, liquidity dynamics, and venue-specific nuances to improve execution quality
Requirements
- A bachelor's, master's, or PhD degree in a quantitative or technical discipline (e.g., Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent)
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience handling Japan ETF flows
- Strong understanding of ETF mechanics, including primary/secondary market interactions, creation/redemption processes, and arbitrage dynamics
- Solid knowledge of index methodologies (e.g., rebalancing, constituent changes) and corporate actions (e.g., dividends, splits)
- Deep understanding of market microstructure and regional trading nuances across APAC exchanges
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with a high degree of ownership and accountability
- Self-motivated, intellectually curious, and capable of quickly learning and adapting in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with traders, quants, and engineers
- Experience with scripting and programming languages such as Python, SQL, Bash

- Business-level Japanese proficiency is preferred
