What We Offer

AIR rewards strong performance with competitive pay and additional earning opportunities:

  • Base pay of $20 per hour plus uncapped commission opportunities with multiple ways to maximize your earnings.
  • Multiple opportunities to increase commission per lease, including:
    • Higher rent rate unit: Updated finishes, larger floor plan, better view, etc.
    • Exceeding monthly goal: Several tiers to increase the percentage of total lease value earned per lease.
    • Longer lease term: 18-month or longer vs. the standard 12-month length.
  • 25% Rent Discount at any AIR community.
    • Option to live onsite with zero commute or at a nearby AIR community.
  • Possible Extended Time Off (depending on business need) to enjoy a Winter Break after peak season has ended.
    • During this unpaid break, you'll retain your benefits, including your 25% rent discount, while enjoying time to recharge before returning for peak leasing season.

What You Will Do

  • Turn qualified prospects into residents through prompt follow-up, personalized recommendations, and engaging apartment tours.
  • Identify each prospect’s needs and confidently present the apartment home, amenities, and lease options that best fit them.
  • Address questions, overcome objections, and confidently ask for the sale.
  • Build and manage an active sales pipeline to consistently meet or exceed monthly leasing, conversion, and occupancy goals.
  • Maintain consistent follow-up with prospects throughout the leasing process and keep accurate records of prospect activity, appointments, and next steps in AIR’s leasing systems.
  • Create an exceptional experience for prospects and residents at every interaction.
  • Support community marketing initiatives and leasing needs across the AIR portfolio.
  • Adhere to Fair Housing Laws and Regulations.

Who You Are

  • Goal-driven: You are motivated by achieving and exceeding sales goals, not simply completing daily tasks.
  • Confident in sales conversations: You are comfortable building rapport, asking questions, addressing objections, and asking for the sale.
  • Competitive and results-oriented: You are energized by conversions, performance metrics, and commission opportunities.
  • Persistent with follow-up: You understand that successful sales require consistent, timely follow-through with prospective customers.
  • Customer-focused: You can balance a strong sales mindset with an exceptional customer experience.
  • Adaptable and accountable: You take ownership of your results, contribute to the team's success, and maintain focus in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.

What You Have

  • At least 1 year of sales, leasing, hospitality, retail, or customer service experience in a goal-oriented environment.
  • A demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales, leasing, conversion, revenue, or other measurable performance goals.

  • The ability to manage multiple prospects simultaneously while maintaining timely and consistent follow-up.
  • Comfort learning and using leasing, CRM, and communication technology.
