As an Energy Solutions Advisor, you will play an active role in growing the company's customer base through targeted telephone communication with prospective customers.
You will identify and understand customers' energy needs, present suitable electricity and natural gas products and solutions, and guide customers through the process of selecting and establishing a business relationship with the company.
The role combines sales, consultative customer engagement and business development, within a dynamic and target-driven environment. It offers the opportunity to gain valuable knowledge of the energy market and develop your career within an international energy organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Make targeted outbound calls to prospective customers based on an organized contact and sales plan.
- Identify and understand customers' energy needs and profiles and present suitable electricity and natural gas products and solutions.
- Handle inbound calls and commercial enquiries from customers.
- Conduct follow-ups and systematically manage sales opportunities through to completion.
- Generate new, high-quality leads and develop new business opportunities.
- Record and systematically update all customer interactions and sales opportunities in the company's CRM system.
- Schedule meetings with the Key Account Sales team, where required.
- Collaborate with the Sales, Customer Care and Back Office teams to ensure smooth customer service and effective management of customer requests.
- Achieve agreed qualitative and quantitative sales targets.
- Proven experience in telesales and/or business development. Previous experience in the electricity and natural gas supply sector will be considered an additional advantage.
- University/College/Vocational Training qualification or High School Diploma.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong results orientation and commitment to achieving sales targets.
- Customer-focused approach and professional attitude.
- Good computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Reliability, consistency and strong teamwork skills.
- Confidence, energy and ease in telephone communication.
- Previous experience in telesales within the energy sector.
- Previous experience using CRM systems.
- Good command of the English language.
