  • A high level of creativity, organizational skill, and attention to detail, along with a demonstrated ability to manage and oversee several tasks and projects concurrently.
  • Strong business acumen necessary to maintain project budgets and develop new and repeat business with existing and new clients.
  • Vision to help grow and direct the water/wastewater technical focus group in close coordination with the Lumos Group Manager, consistent with our strategic plan and goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate, oversee, and direct the project design team during the execution of projects in responsible charge.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain project schedules and budgets.
  • Provide coaching, mentoring, and delegation of responsibility to staff.
  • Provide technical review and QA/QC of projects.
  • Serve as the primary contact with clients.
  • Provide leadership in the development of new business and the promotion of repeat and referral business.
  • Prepare and review project proposals, qualification statements, and promotional materials.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university with an emphasis in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
  • 8+ years of related water/wastewater engineering design and related management experience.
  • Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in Nevada required; California P.E. license preferred, or willingness and ability to obtain within a reasonable timeframe.
  • Experience working in and managing a team of technical staff in multiple disciplines.
