We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team in Southport, United Kingdom. In this role, you will provide essential support and assistance to service users, helping them maintain their independence, dignity, and quality of life. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those you support. • Provide personal care assistance, including support with washing, dressing, grooming, and toileting, whilst maintaining the dignity and privacy of service users • Assist with mobility and movement, using appropriate manual handling techniques and equipment
- Support service users with meal preparation, feeding, and hydration as required • Maintain accurate and confidential records of care provided and any observations regarding service user wellbeing • Communicate clearly and patiently with service users, their families, and colleagues, ensuring all interactions are respectful and supportive • Assist with light housekeeping and domestic tasks to maintain a safe and comfortable environment
- Respond promptly to service user requests and concerns, escalating issues to senior staff when necessary • Adhere to health and safety protocols, safeguarding procedures, and infection control measures • Work flexibly as part of a multidisciplinary team to ensure consistent and coordinated care delivery • Contribute to a positive and supportive workplace culture
