We are looking for an Electronic Assembler to support our Smarten Controllers production line located in NW Houston. Assemble using diagrams, technical drawing packages, blueprints or process sheets Inspect results to ensure conformance with requirements using precision measuring equipment and performs rework as needed Read work orders; accurately follow documented instructions or drawings; position and align parts in specified relationship to each other in jig, fixture, or other holding device; Crimps, stakes, screws, bolts, rivets, welds, solders, cements, press fits, to join or secure parts in place Mount assembled components; and perform point-to-point wiring Organizes and verifies all components prior to completing assembly operations. Assembles basic sub-assemblies and final assemblies following all applicable procedures and documentation. Perform intermediate assembly tasks, such as potting, encapsulating, sanding, cleaning, epoxy bonding, curing, stamping, etching, impregnating, and color-coding parts and assemblies Assist in maintaining inventory levels Troubleshoot assembly problems Assist with other job duties as assigned by the supervisor Maintains a clean and safe work environment every day Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma/GED 1 year experience in an electronic assembler role; preferably reading technical drawings/blueprints. Experience using hand tools Ability to follow oral and written instructions. Possesses basic computer skills such as Microsoft office suite Must be punctual and eager to improve themselves and their surroundings. Strong problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
