We're looking for an Associate - Forensic Data Analytics, who is curious, commercially minded and passionate about using data to solve real-world problems. This role would suit someone with experience in a consulting or professional services environment, where analysing complex data sets and translating them into meaningful insights and compelling business narratives is a core part of the role.
As an Associate, you'll play a key role in delivering forensic and analytical engagements that make a tangible difference for clients. You'll:
- Analyse large and complex financial, payroll and transactional datasets to identify trends, anomalies and areas of risk.
- Build and enhance analytical, financial and statistical models that support investigations, remediation programs and high-stakes decision-making.
- Transform complex data into compelling insights through reports, dashboards, visualisations and presentations.
- Work directly with clients, legal advisers and senior stakeholders to understand challenges and communicate findings.
- Manage key engagement deliverables, balancing multiple priorities while delivering quality outcomes.
- Support and mentor junior team members while contributing to a collaborative and high-performing team culture.
- Help drive innovation by identifying opportunities to improve processes, methodologies and analytical capabilities.
- Contribute to proposals, pitches and business development initiatives that support the continued growth of the practice.
You are an analytical thinker who enjoys solving complex problems and translating data into meaningful business outcomes.
You'll bring:
- 3+ years' experience in data analytics, forensic analytics, financial modelling within a consulting or professional services environment preferred.
- Strong SQL and Tableau capability.
- Demonstratred experience working with large datasets and performing detailed analysis to uncover insights and support decision-making.
- A degree in Data Analytics, Actuarial Studies, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering or a related quantitative discipline.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- A collaborative mindset and genuine interest in supporting the development of others.
- Experience with Alteryx, Power BI, Python or R will be highly regarded.
